Message	Jonathan suggestion to use the heat gun worked perfectly! I also like that he made the safety comment. I am grateful to have welding gloves. It was definitely secured with lock-rite and the heat loosened it up and able to break it loose. My previous attempts actually bent the shifter linkage! Now I can get going on the AEM wide band and 300* din install and get my lady back to the strip and ready for fall cruising
